So, I’ve had this set of table and chairs for awhile. I bought it really, really cheap about 5 years ago. I told some friends that I bought it for $20 but the more I think about it, it might have been closer to $40. Anyway, it was CHEAP! It was a sturdy set but I didn’t like the look of it at all. I had big dreams of refinishing it and re-tiling it and 5 years came and went.
Well, we finally did it! Michael and I worked on it together but I have to admit, my primary role was designer. He did most of the tough work. Though, I did get out there with a chisel to help break up the tile, and I did some painting/distressing. Michael did a great job with the tile work. He gets all the credit for that!
I meant to take a proper “before” pic but Michael got started breaking out tile before I could do that so here’s a quick pic from the driveway.
And, here is the results of our labor! I’m rethinking the distressing, but overall I’m very happy! And, I can’t wait to tackle all the other projects-in-waiting around here!
