We’re just hanging out at home. Michael left this morning for Seattle. He’s going to visit his dad. So, while we miss him, Abby is very happy because her PaPa, my dad, came to stay with her while Michael is gone. She is in little girl heaven! The only thing that would make it better is if her Daddy, Nana, Grandma, Grandpa and Aunties and Uncles were here!
I’m impatiently waiting for my Grocery Game lists to update. I love getting grocery shopping. In fact, it’s a little weird how much I love grocery shoping. I can’t wait to get my lists all organized so that I can get all the good deals tomorrow.
Abby did not have the pH probe test on thursday or friday. We drove down to the medical center on thursday only to realize that I forgot that she was supposed to be NPO. No food for 4 hours before the test. So, I felt pretty sheepish but that’s ok.
We had rescheduled for friday but on thursday evening, Abby’s teacher called to remind us that friday was picture day! Abby missed the first picture day in the fall, so I really wanted her to have her picture made. So, we rescheduled the pH probe for Monday. I’m fairly certain that they are going to tell us that Abby’s reflux is severe, even with the medication but it’s good to find out for sure.
Picture day is always a fun experience. I ususally stay to help. Abby’s teacher works so hard to make sure each parent gets a good picture, preferably with a big smile. It can be very difficult to get a smiling picture with some special-needs kids. Mrs. Tucker works tirelessly to get that perfect school picture that parents can treasure. I always feel blessed to be there. The photographer from Scott Tate is very patient and wonderful as well. He takes as many shots as is necessary to get that special picture. It is a very cool thing to witness.

This is the first picture I have seen of Abby she is beautiful. I pray for you and your family for health, continued faith and strength. My prayers are also with Mike and his father for peace, growth, safe travel and favor. Gob bless.
Thank you Diane. I’m very humbled that you would pray for us. God Bless You!
